Zsolt is a PhD student in Philosophy at Central European University. His main research area is moral and political philosophy. He works on theories of democracy, structural injustice, and just resistance to oppression. He also has a background in critical theory. Previously he studied Philosophy at CEU (MA) and ELTE (BA). In his PhD project he tries to figure out why we think democracy is valuable, why and in what form is it worth preserving and defending.
