Vivien holds an MA in Sustainable Development from Brandeis University, Massachusetts, and a BA in International Relations from Centenary College, New Jersey. Vivien also spent one year in Buenos Aires, Argentina during her high school years. Vivien has worked for the World Bank out of Hungary for 15 years, in addition to doing consultancy at the UN/Food and Agriculture Organisation, the Roma Education Fund, the Hungarian International Development Assistance, and the IHLET Tisza River Development Program. Vivien enjoys playing squash and running.
