Tamás obtained a BA in International Economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest, studied international relations in Paris, and holds an MA degree in Political Science from CEU and another MA degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. After his BA studies he worked for a few years as a journalist at Index.hu in Budapest, currently he is an analyst at a public policy think-tank in Budapest.
