Mustafa is from Nicosia, Cyprus. He studied Hungarology (BA) at the Ankara University. During his BA studies Mustafa received several scholarships including Erasmus and Hungarian State Scholarships. He earned his MA on “European Territories: Identity and Development” from ELTE and Charles University, Prague. For his master’s thesis Mustafa conducted a research on language policies and identity in Cyprus. He then completed his second master’s degree on “Religion in Peace and Conflict Studies” at the Uppsala University. Mustafa is currently working on his PhD and his research is a comparative study of the Hungarian Language Reform and the Turkish Language Reform. Mustafa currently teaches at ELTE, Turkish Studies department.
