Rita graduated with Masters degrees in American Studies and Psychology from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and studied at Trinity College (Connecticut, USA) for a year as an Open Society Institute-George Kellner Scholarship recipient. She subsequently worked as a Research Officer at Cambridge Assessment, the examination board of the University of Cambridge. She has conducted research on various aspects of the UK’s education and examination landscape, focusing on the assessment of GCSEs, A-levels and admission procedures to higher education in the UK. Meanwhile, she earned a Master of Education degree from the University of Cambridge, played the surdo drum in a samba band, danced salsa, climbed walls and trained as first aider.
