Peter is an ecologist, holds a PhD in biology from the Szent István University, an MSc in ecology from the University of Debrecen, and an MSc in biology from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. In Canada he conducted research with Inuit on the effect of climate change on Arctic-tundra vegetation. Currently he is working at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences‒Szent István University Plant Ecology Research Group, where he investigates the greenhouse gas budget of livestock farms. Besides research he teaches and supervises students at the University. As the head of the Eco‒Scale Association, he is engaged in environmental education, plants trees and frequently publishes in the media. As a part‒owner of the Agrinno‒LTD, he develops software’s and devices for smart farming. He likes improvising on piano, running and enjoying good food with friends and family.
