Péter received his M.Sc. in structural biology and molecular neurobiology from the University of Szeged. He then obtained a Ph.D. in oncology from Semmelweis University, where he developed an interest in tumor-stroma interaction. In the field, he did an internship at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, and took fellowship positions at John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu and the University of Copenhagen. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow at the 1st Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research at Semmelweis University and a teacher of biology in a programme that prepares foreign students for university entrance examinations in English. His hobbies include writing, biking, and playing the drums.
