Pál obtained an M.Sc. In Mathematics at Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam and an M. Sc. In economics from Corvinus University, Budapest. Since then he has been working in several positions related to mathematics and its applications, among others in actuarial scince, signal processing and metrology. At present he is working on his Ph.D. at Central European University. His research topic, Noise Sensitivity of Boolean functions, is related to Probability Theory and Statistical Physics.
