Otávio has a BA in Social Sciences, with a focus on Social and Cultural Anthropology, from the Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil), an MA in Cognition and Human Evolution from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (Spain) and another MA in Cognitive Science and Language from the Universistat de Barcelona. Throughout his undergraduate studies, he lived for a year in Madrid and studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). Currently, Otávio is studying for a PhD in Cognitive Science at the Central European University (CEU). His interests involve fields like developmental psychology and linguistics. Specifically, he researches the relationships between the faculty of language and the capacity to acquire cultural knowledge through communication from a developmental perspective.
