
Nada has a PhD in Medieval Studies from the Central European University, Budapest. During her career to date, she has worked as a researcher on Byzantine history at the Institute of Byzantine Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, a program manager in Higher Education exchange with the Institute of International Education in Budapest, and a professor of Medieval History at the University of Eastern Sarajevo. Nada’s current research interests are in medieval migrations and nobility, Humanist intellectuals, and interpretations of the Middle Ages. She is the editor of the publication series Central European Medieval Studies (Amsterdam University Press) and The Black Sea World (ARC-Humanities Press). In her free time, Nada enjoys cycling, reading and translating from Latin and Greek.
