Márton attended the specialised mathematics class of Fazekas Secondary School (Budapest), where he showed an early interest in physics, also participating in the 40th International Physics Olympiad. After spending a year at the Budapest University of Technology, he received a scholarship from Trinity College to study physics at the University of Cambridge. His strong interest in Quantitative Finance motivated him to participate in technology and trading internship programmes with Morgan Stanley and Jane Street, respectively. After receiving his BA in 2013, Márton was admitted to part III, where he studied applicable mathematics and was awarded a Masters degree in 2014. Returning to Budapest, he took a job as a quantitative analyst at Citi, specialising in equities. His main areas of interest are probability theory, operational research and stochastic calculus. In his free time, Márton is a great fan of winter sports, regularly runs and participated in the Oxford-Cambridge Judo Varsity match.
