Louise Loehndorff

Louise studied Biochemistry and International Education at the University of San Francisco. She then went on to take a BA in Greek and Latin at CUNY Hunter College in New York City, as well as an MA in Classics from the University of Michigan, where she is currently writing her Ph.D. dissertation. Her work applies relevant aspects of modern translation theory in an effort to examine ancient bilingual texts and to better understand the often complex relationship between ancient philosophy and early Christianity. In addition, Louise has a decade of experience working as a veterinary technician in the US. In her free time, she enjoys AcroYoga, cycling, and learning Hungarian and Syriac.
