Lilla Somosfalvi

Position: Staff
Years: 2017-2018, 2018-2019

Lilla was awarded her B.A in British and American Studies from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. Although she enjoyed studying English linguistics and American culture, her interest moved to a combination of environmental diplomacy, management and administration after her internship at the Environmental, Science, Technology and Health Hub Office of the U.S. Embassy, Budapest. Therefore, since her graduation in July 2017, Lilla has taken every opportunity to broaden her horizons and get hands-on experience in these particular domains. Before joining the Milestone Institute, she was involved in a case-study analysing nature-based solutions in her home town of Győr and took part in several training courses about sustainability, environmental education and social entrepreneurship in Spain and the Czech Republic. In her free time, Lilla enjoys hiking, improving her cooking skills and dancing the Argentine Tango.
