Lilla Asztalos

Lilla graduated as a mechanical engineer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where she is currently doing her doctoral research. Her professional areas are the mechanical and corrosion damage processes of metallic medical implants. In addition to her research, she is working in the field of quality management process development at a medical company. She is passionate about science communication and considers it important that research results are not only published in professional journals but made understandable and accessible to anyone. She is an enthusiastic member of the BME Welding Division, and her hobby is making SFX-makeup.
