Laura made her BA and MA at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and studied Design and Art Theory. During her academic years she was an enthusiastic organizer of her department’s events and started new community building projects with her fellows. She made researches on the material and visual culture of the socialist Hungary throughout her masters, and wrote her thesis about the job opportunities of the textile designers in the 1970s. She went for an internship to Portugal in 2018, working for a non-profit organization and this is the time when she realized that how much she loved social work. At the moment she is helping to launch social enterprises in Borsod in collaboration with a Romani organization. She spends most of her spare time with her friends talking about the big things of life and in the summertime she is frequent visitor of several music festivals.
