László is a senior researcher and an associate professor of theoretical linguistics. He works at the Research Institute for Linguistics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, where they also launched the Department of Theoretical Linguistics jointly with ELTE. He spent most of his scientific career there, with a few years of teaching abroad (University of Amsterdam, Computational Linguistics)and doing AI research with private companies (Mindmaker, Ltd. and Applied Logic Lab). His domains of research are theory of grammar, formal semantics and computational models of natural language.
