Judit holds an MSc in Chemistry from the Eötvös Loránd University and a Ph.D. in Structural Biochemistry. During her Ph.D. training, she conducted 3 years of research on molecular motors at the National Institutes of Health of the United States. She also conducted research at the Gustave Roussy and Curie Institutes in Paris. Currently, she is a principal investigator at the Institute of Enzymology, Budapest. Her research focuses on genome metabolism and antibiotics resistance. She is a lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at Eötvös Loránd University. She has been mentoring students from high school to the Ph.D. level for 20 years.
