József earned his PhD from the University of Debrecen in 1997 in mathematics. He is an associate professor at ELTE and also a part time fellow of Department of Stochastics at BME. His main research interest is mathematical statistics and he teaches various subjects form discrete mathematics to calculus. He also does research work in the mathematical theory of voting.
