Gitta is currently pursuing her MSc in Psychology of Mental Health at the University of Edinburgh, and is preparing for her upcoming clinical psychology training in Budapest. At present, she’s researching the benefits of self-compassion and its effects on self-critical thoughts and maladaptive perfectionism. Previously, she studied at Bard College in New York, where she completed her BA in Psychology and her BMus in Violin Performance. Alongside her studies in Psychology, she is an award-winning violinist, and has been invited back to Bard College to perform as a soloist with The Orchestra Now for their upcoming season. When she is not studying, you can find her teaching violin online, going on long walks, reading, or watching one of David Lynch’s movies for the millionth time.
