Gábor obtained an MA in Hebrew and Greek from Eötvös University Budapest and a PhD in Classics from the Catholic University of Leuven. He has been teaching at Pázmány Catholic University in Piliscsaba, as well as at Eötvös University and Central European University in Budapest. Currently he is an assistant professor at Eötvös University’s Institute of Ancient Studies and the leader of the Biblical Studies program (http://vallastudomany.elte.hu/content/gábor-buzási). His main areas of interest are Biblical interpretation, Early Jewish and Christian thought, religion and philosophy in Late Antiquity, and Jewish-Christian relations.
