David worked for 9 years in biotechnology R&D in both the academic and the private sectors. He received his MSc in Bioengineering and holds a PhD degree in Synthetic and Systems Biology from Imperial College London. David gained expertise in laboratory automation and biological assay optimization at leading international biotechnology companies. In his free time, he does voluntary work in summer camps popularizing natural sciences and teaches astronomy and scientific thinking for young people between 7 and 18.
