A medical doctor, Daniel graduated from Semmelweis University in 2013. Previously, he received a scholarship to work as a visiting researcher at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and the University of Cambridge. Since 2009, he has been an active member of the LINK (www.linkgroup.hu) network research group led by Prof Peter Csermely. As an undergraduate researcher and currently as a PhD candidate at the Department of Medical Chemistry at Semmelweis University he presented his results at conferences and in publications nationally and internationally. His main research interest is the subcellular organisation of protein-protein interaction networks, and the analyses of cancer signalling. Earlier working with the DZZOM network medicine firm, currently as a co-founder and medical dricetor of the Turbine (www.turbine.ai) startup company he is working on the development of targeted patient-specific cancer treatments. With Turbine they have been selected into the Grants4Apps acceleretor program of the Bayer pharma company. Beside his research activity he works as an emergency physician at an adult ambulant care facility regularly. In his spare time he likes spending time with his family, running, hiking, and cars.
