Daniel holds an MFA in Photography from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and an MA in Scandinavian Studies from the Eotvos Lorand University. His work concentrates on the issues of identity and he wrote his dissertation about artistic interventions in public spaces. As the winner of the Google Photography Prize, the Epson Art Photo Award, and numerous grants, Daniel has exhibited extensively internationally (USA, UK, France, Israel, Canada, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Greece, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Hungary). He was a Board Member of the Young Artists’ Association in Hungary between 2013 and 2015, before moving to New York City in 2016, where he was a Teaching Assistant at the International Center of Photography.

He currently works on a long term project studying and documenting the tiniest villages in Hungary that have a population below 100. He is also helping architecture studios and NGOs to have a better visual representation.
