Csaba obtained his MSc in molecular biology at Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest) and his PhD in molecular oncology at Semmelweis University (Budapest). Between 2010 and 2013 he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Barts Cancer Institute in London with a research fellowship award from the European Hematology Association. His main research interest are the molecular genetics and epigenetics of hematological tumors (leukemias and lymphomas), with special emphasis on personalised medicine and biomarker research. Currently, Csaba is working as a research associate at the Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, Semmelweis University, where in addition to his research and teaching activity he runs the molecular diagnostic laboratory of the Oncohematology Centre.
