Bálint studied nuclear physics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and holds an MSc in Engineering Physics. He wrote his thesis about the radiation protection measurement stations of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant. After several years in research & development, Bálint joined the Dunamenti Power Plant, where for five years he worked on new power plant unit investment projects and the dismantling (asbestos removal and demolition) of the plant’s obsolete units. He joined the Milestone Institute in 2014, and since February 2015 has been working for the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority. Bálint likes to spend his free time with his family, and playing and watching team sports like football and ice hockey.
