Anna has a PhD in intercultural linguistics, specializing in the discourses of gender. She is an enthusiast of languages, holding degrees in American Studies and Italian Studies. Besides her bilingual competence of Hungarian and English, she learned Italian, Spanish, Latin, Portuguese, German, and Korean. So far she has lived in the US, Central America, Spain, and Italy. Currently she is teaching at Eötvös Loránd University and Pázmány Péter University but she has been affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, the University of Pavia in Italy, and Central European University.
Anna is passionate about social equity, particularly the better involvement of girls and women in science and education, and she is madly in love with sports, especially climbing, via ferrata, and soccer.
