Alexandra was born in Germany and raised in the US by Hungarian parents. She was
studying literary history at ELTE University in Budapest when she became acquainted
with Béla Zsolt’s work and took the direction towards Holocaust history. Later she
graduated in Comparative History and Jewish Studies at the Central European
University in Budapest. She is currently conducting research to gain insights into
women’s experiences of the Holocaust and post-war Jewish emigration for a PhD
dissertation as a historian.
