Ágnes obtained her MSc from the University of Horticulture and Food Industry and her PhD from Szent István University in the field of plant physiology. After PhD she started to work at the Institute of Enzymology, Hungarian Academy of Sciences and she works there still. Ágnes holds the position of Senior Research Fellow in the Research Group of Intrinsically Disordered Proteins. Her main research interest is the structure-function relationship of proteins, more precisely the role of regulatory protein-RAN interactions in epigenetic modifications. She teaches at MSc and PhD level at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and at Eötvös Loránd University.
