Ágnes studied English and French at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and Comparative Literature at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. She is a literary editor with many years of experience in editing cultural websites and magazines, both in English and in Hungarian. She has translated numerous books and articles into Hungarian, and edited a number of books for Hungarian and American publishers. She is the sole editor of Hungarian Literature Online, as well as editor-at-large at Asymptote Journal. She teaches a course on translation at Károli University, Budapest, and also works as a conference interpreter.
