Ágnes is submitting her doctoral dissertation on the relationship between poetic thought in the first half of the 17th century in England and the vastness of space. During her PhD, she has also conducted research in Exeter, and taught as an external member of staff at Károli Gáspár University. She is also one of the three founders of the Early Modern English Research Group (EMERG) at ELTE, and a member of the British Society for Literature and Science. She is a translator and editor of several of J. R. R. Tolkien’s books. In her spare time, she frequently organises public events and conferences as a volunteer, and sometimes gets lost in modern fiction.
