The module is 8-weeks-long. It is designed to give an overview of the main drivers of climate change and complex issues facing modern societies. It is open to anyone who is interested in gaining a better understanding of climate science, basic concepts in ecology, sustainable approaches, the pros and cons of renewable energy, and social aspects which inevitably will form the daily life of future generations. The module will explore session topics via guided discussion, short presentations, data analysis, weekly quizzes based on textbook material, and group work. It has no prerequisites and is designed for those who are just in the process of approaching the topics listed.
