The philosophy tutorial is a lively, interactive, discussion-centered module that focuses on deepening the understanding of some of the fundamental questions of the tradition of continental and analytical philosophy. The tutorial is structured around exploring age-old philosophical problems that range from the nature of truth and knowledge, the relationships of mind and matter, notions and concepts and theories of being, reality, space and time, notions of morality and justice, as well as methods and principles of logical reasoning and validity. The aim of the course is to help its participants to develop their analytical and reasoning skills and be able to employ the knowledge they gain from their readings and the discussions in a competitive academic setting such as a university admission interview.
