The first four weeks of this module introduces a selection of fundamental concepts of game theory and demonstrates their applications by using interactive classroom games. The second four weeks of the module then shifts to macroeconomics, with a focus on critically reading & interpreting recent news events through the eyes of macroeconomics and a simple supply/demand framework. Students from different backgrounds and with diverse skill sets are welcomed to the module. The module particularly targets students who want to study Economics, Business, Management, Politics, International Relations, and related fields; however, students outside of these fields would benefit from it by gaining insights about strategic thinking / generic economic literacy.
