What do minority identities tell us about the society we live in? What do they tell us about ourselves? Through interrogating questions of identities and their connection to social inequalities, this module will provide students with an understanding of how individuals are social beings. We do not only discuss various social identities (gender, race/ethnicity, class, disability, sexuality). We also examine their intersections in order to reflect on questions of difference, diversity, prejudice, justice, and oppression. The module is suitable for students with no or limited knowledge in the topic. They will acquire analytic tools to critically address social processes and their representation
