The Quantitative section in most of the assessment tests, measures students ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills. The mathematics needed to understand and solve the questions in this section of the exam are no greater than what is generally taught in secondary school classes.
There are two types of questions included in the quantitative sections: Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency.
The aim of this module is preparing the students for various assessment tests like BMAT, IMAT, UKCAT, SAT, etc, which involve this type of questions to test the candidates ability in reasoning based on critical thinking math and logic.
– Skills in basic mathematics,
– Understanding of elementary math,
– Ability to reason quantitatively,
– Ways of modelling and solving problems using various quantitative methods,
– Solving problems based on graphs, tables and figures.
This Module will provide an opportunity for students with different interests and backgrounds to develop how they can prepare themselves for entrance examinations. Thus all students, but especially those are going to attend one of the aptitude tests needed for UK universities are very welcome.
