The course provides insights into the visual representation of Otherness. It examines cinema as a tool for creating and reflecting concepts of the society and the individual. After reviewing the key terms and theories (e.g.: representation, Otherness, language, cinema), we watch films and take some examples from visual media too for understanding the main topic.
