The linguistics course aims to clarify the subject matter and the object of linguistics. Through the discovery of these fundamental problems, students will separate it from other, non-scholarly approaches to language, while gaining an overview of the basic branches of linguistics, learning about the main theoretical frameworks and the current trends in linguistic theory as well as the relationship between language and society.
