The Innovation and Management module presents management concepts and innovation theories. Through lectures about planning, execution and project life cycles students will get a general understanding about project management and its application to innovative technologies (such as autonomous vehicles, smart machines, the Internet of Things, wearable technologies, Big Data, or IT Security), which will help the students think critically about projects and technologies. The module is particularly suitable for students interested in business, management, research and development or technology innovation. Students will develop their skills to analyse technology trends and will get an overview about planning an actual project. (Engineering and non-engineering mindsets are both welcome.)
