This course aims to introduce students to some of the core issues of classical and contemporary normative political theory as well as the descriptive study of international relations. On the one hand, the course familiarizes students with the theoretical forerunners and classics of liberal political philosophy and IR theory; on the other hand, it touches upon some key questions in international relations through case studies.
