The aim of this seminar is to introduce interested students to the sociological approach. Key concepts, the most influential theoretical schools and research methods will be in the center of readings and discussions. These concepts, terms and perspectives will be introduced through various examples of sociological studies. We will be discussing the required and recommended readings in order to reconstruct the main arguments and find the distinctive sociological perspective to the given topic.
