This course will provide an overview of the main fields of archaeological research. It will help get acquainted with the different methods and approaches of archaeological inquiry and lead to becoming aware of the variety of skills connected to different aspects of the archaeological process (site surveying, archaeological excavation, restoration of finds, data interpretation and exhibitions)
It will also identify central field of interest for doing further research and develop key skills such as textual comprehension, reconstruction and reasoning, presentation, essay writing, and referencing.
