The module will offer a comparative approach to Discrete Mathematics. Beyond the theoretical knowledge, the goal of this module is to develop the ability of creative mathematical thinking and it also teaches some problem solving techniques. DiscreteMathematics has a wide range of applications in many fields of Mathematics, moreover in other sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, etc. Furthermore, modern Computer Science is almost completely built on Discrete Mathematics. This module will be especially useful for students in Mathematics and Computer Science.
