Arts and Humanities

The Freshman Humanities Module is a brief introduction to some of the ways one can approach a literary text. At each session, we will focus on one particular angle – style, image, idea and society – and discuss a literary text or a film, with that perspective as a starting point. Besides reading and discussing literary texts, we will focus on topics and ideas of contemporary relevance.
