The Milestone Institutes history course aims to introduce students to the core issues occupying contemporary Anglo-Saxon historical scholarship and provide the foundations for further study in the UK or US. As such, the course covers a wide variety of issues from a basic introduction to theories of historical writing and methodology, to issues of global history and European modernity, concepts of revolutions and their analysis to dealing with controversy within a field of historiography.
