With December approaching, the Season of Debate is upon us! Every year our Debating Society presents all Hungarian students with the opportunity to get to know formalised debating thus improve their English, critical thinking and public speaking skills. As the organisers for the Hungarian rounds for two international debating competitions, our Debating Society offers preparatory workshops and also supports the winning teams as they make their way to Oxford and Cambridge for the international Finals Day.
All interested students, parents and teachers, regardless of debating experience, are invited to our introductory Show Debate on the 7th December. By attending this event, you will have the opportunity to take a glimpse at a debate by Milestone’s competitive team, as well as to learn about the upcoming Qualifiers for Oxford Schools and ICYD. Please make sure to register for the event and indicate whether you are interested in participating in a debating or judging workshop after the Show Debate.
