What potential changes could science bring about? How much power does science possess with regard to this potential? Are ethical norms capable of controlling or containing the seemingly unlimited potential inherent in technological development? These were the major questions and problems on which our Junior student, Lili Lantos focused and reflected in her lecture at the latest TEDx Youth conference in Budapest.
Lili used this platform to communicate her ideas on the achievements and opportunities of biotechnology. In her preparation for her presentation she was assisted by Milestone’s Solutions Lab senior trainer, Orsolya Nemes, who gave talks at Hungarian TEDx events three years in a row – 2013, 2014 and 2015. Check out Lili’s lecture which she dedicated to all who are open to scientific development but are not mindless technophiles.
