19/08/2014: 11 members of the Milestone MUN (Model United Nations) club are currently at Yeditepe University in Istanbul for the annual MUNIST conference. MUN is a simulation of the real UN and other international organisations, using formal diplomatic language and procedures. The students are thus discussing pressing global issues, be it in the Security Council, the Human Rights Council, the European Parliament or the UN Development Programme.
